Colleen Carson. graduated from Loyola Chicago with a degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Mathematics and ENL. For the past 10 years, she has worked as a 1st grade teacher across the USA. She is excited to join the Educ8 team and help promote their social media mission.
WILLIAM JACKSON
Social Media Team Member
William graduated from South Carolina State University earning a Bachelor’s
in Education. Furthering his education earning a Masters of Arts in Teaching
from Webster University in 2004 with a focus on Educational Technology,
Social Media and STEAM.
William’s career involves teaching with NASA as an Internet and technology
instructor in collaboration with Edward Waters College and a technology
consultant with the Florida Department of Education where he taught
educational access to the Internet where he presented at major conferences
in Florida and Georgia.
William has been involved in the field of education over 30 years in
elementary, middle and higher education teaching Physical and Health
Education, STEM, STEAM and elements of STREAM where reading is incorporated.
William is not only an educator, he is also a social media digital
innovator, respected blogger and micro-blogger with Twitter.
William has been involved with Word Camp conferences since 2010 and is a
true “Word Camp Digital Evangelist” where he and his wife have travelled
internationally to speak and teach at Kids Camp conference.
